Transformation through Motherhood. Real Empowerment in Mums's life

Take a lesson from the tiny caterpillar who has the courage and faith to undergo massive change in order to transform into a gorgeous butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹

I think life is full of transformational moments; from the moment we came into this world, we cry.. basically, we scream !! It is quite a change, isnโ€™t it? We were babies, children, ten, then when we start to grow, we become a #mother. What a change!

Since pregnant ๐ŸคฐI didnโ€™t imagine how much my life was going to change when I delivered my baby!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜จ

My focus was not only โ€˜Meโ€™ anymore! I had to be responsible for a lovely tiny baby, a new routine, the #breastfeeding ๐Ÿคฑ was like a new science ๐Ÿงช in a country (UK) where I was not feeling the #freedom to breastfeed. I say that it was like a science as I had to attend classes! It was something very odd for me to do, as back in my country Peru, everyone does it with just mother instincts.

I remember people used to watch me with odd eyes ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ™„ very uncomfortable feelings of shame like I was doing something wrong! ๐ŸฅตI didnโ€™t know that breastfeeding was a kind of โ€œspecialโ€ mother activity that British culture was not happily accepting as many of them felt even offended by it, despite their advice us to do so! So, due to this rejecting behaviour, I had no choice but to always run fast, looking for one of my havens to breastfeed Hugh, like Mothercare shop or Westfield where they had a special Breastfeeding Room where I can sit down to breastfeed my baby. So, I used to pray especially on long journeys, in the bus or tube: please do not cry for milk, no please ..no yet!! It was quite stressful as my little one used to have tommy-aches with any formula milk.

On the top, it was difficult for me to stop breastfeeding for long time.. until I went to my home country Peru and my parents helped me! .. uf ๐Ÿ˜“

Also, I couldnโ€™t drink any alcohol to chill out or socialising for a long time!!! ๐ŸนFeeling crazy..

Then I experienced abuse, divorce, homelessness, becoming a single mum is not easy yeah?.. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
So I donโ€™t know how we #survived ?? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎAs mums we endure hardship, lots #stress#depression#anxiety, #loneliness especially if all your family is overseas. Sometimes we lose our self-esteem, our identity, our happiness and our smiles! we .. lose ourselves!

Like the caterpillar, we may face struggles, rainy days, etc! but with #courage and faith we rise again and transformed in that bright, illuminated #soul that is shining with your own light!

You are like that beautiful butterfly ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿฆ‹
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
YOU ARE STRONG
YOU ARE WISE
YOU ARE ENOUGH
YOU ARE BLESSED
YOU ARE LOVED
And you will always #overcome, transform as you all have something very special within our DNA, the #unconditional #love for your children, yourself and the people who love you #family and #friends ๐Ÿ’•

Sometimes you think you are simply a mum when in the reality, you are A SUPER MUM, SUPERWOMAN! UNLIMITED SOUL, be sure about it!
